The Antrim Volunteer Driver Network is growing! As Driver Networks are being developed in many of our regional towns, a centralized Request Phone Line is now available at the offices of the Contoocook Valley Transportation Co. Please call 1-877-428-2882 (toll-free), if you need a ride to a Medical Appointment or to the Pharmacy.
When you call, please leave
– Your Name
– One or two Phone Numbers where you can be reached
– The Date for which you need a Ride
You will be contacted by a Ride Request Volunteer who will get the specifics of your Ride Request. As soon as a Volunteer Driver is found, you will be contacted by the Driver, and the two of you will make exact arrangements.
We ask that requests be made at least one week in advance of the appointment, that all Riders be over the age of 18 (unless accompanied by a parent/guardian) and that all Drivers be at least 18 years old.
If you would like to participate in this program where neighbor helps neighbor, please consider registering as an occasional Network Driver Volunteer. Or, let us know if you are interested in helping with the phone work of the AVDN. It will be light work if shared by many volunteers.
