Seniors Schedule Luncheon for July 13
The July senior luncheon is $5 and will take place at noon at the Antrim Presbyterian Church. Menu: hot dogs, hamburgers, cheeseburgers, macaroni salad, potato salad, and baked beans. Dessert is provided by Pheasant Wood Care and Rehabilitation Center. Sign up sheet is in the fellowship hall at the church.
The luncheons take place on the second Tuesday of the month. June’s luncheon was held at Gregg Lake. The meals are prepared entirely by the seniors. Usual cost is $5 per person.
The seniors visited Suffolk Downs race track in Boston on May 26 as part of Local 25 Teamsters’ Retirees Chapter which sponsored the event. One race was dedicated to the Antrim Area Senior Center and the seniors were on hand as Jim Burnham presented the trophy to the winning jockey.

The Antrim Area Senior Center welcomes seniors 55 or over from Antrim and surrounding towns. There is free coffee and pastries available. An exercise program occurs Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 10 a.m. There are no dues. Puzzle making and card playing are favorites of the group. Bridge is played on Wednesdays. Come for fun and stay for St. Joseph’s Meals on Wheels at 11:45 a.m. (Sign up for the meals by Wednesday of the preceding week.) A $2 donation is optional.
