Avenue A at 42 Main Street was created by and for teens, and is here primarily for teens in grades 8 through 12 who live in the Great Brook towns (Antrim, Hancock Bennington and Francestown), and for teens in the same grades in the ConVal towns.
The center comes complete with a regulation pool table, foos ball, ping pong and air hockey, as well as a graffiti wall, board games, and a stereo. There is space to do home work or just hang out, and a computer for teen use. Drinks and snacks are on sale at very reasonable prices with proceeds to benefit the center.
Teens and parents are encouraged to read Teen Center Information for Parents and
Teen Center Code of Conduct (see links below) to learn more about the center. And if you have a particular skill or talent you would be willing to shave with teens, have a few hours available to help supervise an event, or are interested in some Community Service hours, please contact teen center Dave Kirkpatrick at 588-3334 or email at teencenter@tds.net.
