Join us for two fishing events coming soon!
Sunday, April 20, between 4 and 6 pm join the Antrim Recreation Take Me Fishing Club for a free clinic on warm weather fishing. Topics will include tips on equipment, technique, types of fish, catch and release, safety and more. The club has new equipment for you to use in a hands on session on casting and fishing at the Mill Pond. The clinic will be held at the Antrim Town Hall. Facilitators are David Duffy, Ralph Cody and Celeste Lunetta.
The Antrim Youth Fishing Derby will be held on Saturday May 3rd, 8-10 am, rain or shine, at the Mill Pond in Memorial Park. The derby is for anyone who is 15 and younger. There will be prizes awarded in many categories. Participants should bring their own bait and equipment. The Antrim Recreation Take Me Fishing club will have some equipment to loan and volunteers on hand, if your child does not have a rod. There is no charge to participate in either of these events.
