Antrim Youth Bike Safety Rodeo
SATURDAY MAY 3rd, starts at noon.
Join Antrim Recreation, the Antrim-Bennington Lions Club and the Antrim
Police Department for the spring Bike Safety Rodeo.
The bike event is held at the Antrim Town Gym Saturday May 3rd, starting at
noon.
This year, the events include:
* free raffle for a brand new bike
* bike safety checks and tune up tips with Bruce Harrington and Tom
Cochran
* a bike obstacle course
* a bike decorating tent and parade
* a bike auction
* free helmets while supplies last, and helmets for sale
The event is designed for kids ages 4 and older.
There will be a bike parade for kids ages 4 and older at 1:30, and a bike
ride for kids 10 and older at 2:00.**
**For the bike ride, Kids need a bike with working gears, a helmet and some
experience on their bike.
This is a free event that focuses on being an educated and safe rider, as
well as on
having some fun and celebrating the biking season.
The event will be held drizzle or shine. If it is very rainy or otherwise
dangerous conditions the event will be postponed by one week. For more
