NH Audubon is planning a celebration at Willard Pond Saturday October 6 at 10 a.m. A new trail will be opened/dedicated; the "Tamposi land" 372-acre addition will be celebrated (new trail is a spur off Ted Bonner's "Tamposi Trail").
Audubon's longtime conservation partner in expanding WP Sanctuary -- the Harris Center/Meade Cadot -- will be honored with a very well-deserved award.
All are invited, welcomed, and encouraged to attend and after the celebration festivities, a number of group events are planned including: 1) a hardy hike will depart for the new trail (pack a lunch and water); 2) a lesser wander/ walk around the Mill Pond; and 3) a leisurely paddle on Willard Pond.
