At approximately 5:00 pm on 06/08/07, Antrim Police Officers Matthew L. Elliott and Sean P. Cavanaugh responded to the area of Goodell Road and Mattheson Road for a report of an assault in progress. Upon arrival the officers spoke with 32-yr. old Christopher Brissette, of Antrim. Mr. Brissette had suffered a head wound due to having been struck in the head with a blunt object, possibly a baseball bat. He was transported to the Monadnock Community Hospital with non life threatening injuries via private vehicle.
Further investigation revealed that two other men involved in the assault had fled the scene on foot prior to police arrival. Those individuals were identified as 25-yr old Robert Flagg, of New Ipswich, NH and 49-yr old Michael Flagg, of Antrim, NH. A witness reported that Robert Flagg had told her he had been stabbed in the arm.
A search warrant was executed at the Goodell location and officers recovered multiple weapons from the scene.
Antrim Police were assisted by NH State Police K-9 Unit, Hillsborough, Deering and Bennington Police Departments. Both Robert and Michael Flagg are wanted for questioning in this incident.
