Registrations for 2011-2012 now being accepted!

REGISTRATION DEADLINE WILL BE OCTOBER 28 Forms will be available at the Town of Antrim Town Hall, Parks & Recreation Department and Great Brook Middle School or by clicking below on the form needed.


To avoid late fees please register on time. This does not mean the registration fee must be paid before the deadline, but the registration form needs to be turned in. Any child registered late will be put on a waiting list and may not make a team.

Late registrations will be accessed a $10 late fee.

Thank you for your effort in meeting the deadlines that are necessary in order to create teams, find sponsors and order equipment and uniforms! ~

THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW:
  • Teams are determined by grade.
  • Teams will be forms if we have the enough players. .Grades 3rd and up are separated by boys and girls.
  • Grades 1and 2 are 30 minutes practice and 30 minutes scrimmage.
  • Grades 3rd and 4th are travel teams with both a boys and girls division. These teams are part of the Merrimack Valley Basketball League. The practice two days a week with one game. Games are on Saturdays in December and January with a total of 7 games. The season ends with a Round Robin in February. and up play surrounding towns with tournaments at the end of the season. They practice two to three times a week.  Basketball usually ends by February vacation.
  • Grades 5th and 6th are travel teams as well with both a boys and girls division. These teams are part of the Silver/Emerald Valley League. They practice at least twice a week with games scheduled during the week and on Saturdays.
  • Grades 3rd and up are competitive teams requiring a commitment from both the player and family.
  • Call your coach or team manager for game or practice cancellations.
  • T-shirts are provided for grades 1and 2 – these do not need to be returned. Uniforms are provided for Grades 3 and up – these must be returned. Any player who has not returned their uniform will not be allowed to receive a uniform for the next sport they play until the prior uniform is returned. The cost of the uniform will be billed if not returned.
REQUIRED PLAYER EQUIPMENT FOR EVERY PRACTICE AND GAME:
  • Sneakers
  • Water Bottle
  • Mouth guards recommended for 5th/6th BUT required for 3rd/4th

GYM LOCATIONS:
  • Town of Antrim Gym
  • Great Brook Middle School
  • Other Locations to be determined once the game schedules are made
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED PLEASE INDICATE ON REGISTRATION FORM OR CALL US AT 588-3121:
  • Coach/Assistant Coach: ~Runs/Helps with practices, games and distribution of information to team.
  • Team Manager: ~Phone calls for coach, organizes parent volunteers for snack and water, distributes uniforms.
  • Gym Clean Up/Maintenance: helps get gym ready for game/practice and helps with cleanup of gym when game/practice is over - for basketball in particular we need to assure that the gym is put back the way we found it.
  • Referees: Attends clinic and helps officiate games (need volunteers for all levels) Education will be provided.
  • Concession Stand: ~We need volunteers to open and staff our concession stand; funds raised go to support the program. Concession stand orientation will be provided. If you can volunteer for just one or two home games during the season it will be a huge help to our league.
