DEPUTY TAX COLLECTOR / ASSISTANT TOWN CLERK
The Town of Antrim is looking for a part-time person to fill the positions of Deputy Tax Collector / Assistant Town Clerk.
The Deputy Tax Collector assists in performing a variety of complex accounting and clerical duties associated with the receipt and record keeping of municipal taxes,
including the preparation, posting and balancing large volumes of data and the preparation of State forms and financial statements pertaining to the position. The position requires a substantial amount of customer service to the general public.
The Assistant Town Clerk assists in processing automobile registrations, dog licenses, and marriage licenses; assists in the planning and organization of Town record keeping activities; maintains official records and vital statistics of the Town; assists in preparation of official reports and bank deposits; assists with elections and Town Meeting.
