HIGHWAY MAINTENANCE WORKER
The Town of Antrim is accepting applications for a full-time highway worker. The successful applicant will operate and maintain a variety of heavy and light equipment, keep them in good repair, perform routine manual labor and other duties as assigned. Applicant must have a valid CDL Class A or B license and be able to lift up to 75 pounds.  The successful candidate must be able to pass a physical, substance abuse screening, driving and a criminal background check prior to employment. The ability to deal in a courteous manner with the public, follow oral instructions, work in adverse weather conditions, snow plowing experience (with wing preferred), work independently in the performance of regular duties is a must. On-call Transfer Station Attendant
The Town of Antrim is accepting applications for an on-call Transfer Station Attendant.  This is position is on an as needed basis for station coverage when regular employee is unavailable.  The attendant will monitor access to the solid waste disposal facility and explains operating policies and procedures to facility users to assure proper use.  Assists resident and commercial users in the appropriate placement of refuse and recyclables and maintains the recycling area, and ensures the proper disposal and classification of all recycled materials.  The successful candidate must be able to pass a physical, substance abuse screening, driving and a criminal background check prior to employment.
