Distinguished Speakers Series presents: Neurodiversity: Challenges for School and the Broader Community

On Saturday, May 20th  between 10:30 and 11:30 a.m., the James A. Tuttle Library will renew its Distinguished Speaker Series.

Our speaker will be Professor Ken Gobbo who will discuss Neurodiversity; What It Is and What It Isn’t.

The Neurodiversity movement includes individuals with autism, dyslexia, ADHD, and other neurological differences who see themselves as different rather than disordered or in need of a cure.  Professor Gobbo will discuss how schools and communities can better meet the needs of members of this emerging culture.Widely published, Gobbo, Professor Emeritus of Psychology at Landmark College, is eminently qualified to address this important issue.
