COVID 19 For immediate release

antrim seal

Due to events that have transpired within the last 48 hours in relation to the Corona virus, we are asking the residents and visitors to the town of Antrim to take the following precautions. These actions are the same procedures that are being implemented in many towns and cities across the state as well as the U.S.

We have asked all organizations in town to immediately postpone all gatherings and events until April 6th 2020

The Antrim town hall will be postponing all public hearings and meetings until April 6th 2020

The Tuttle library will be posting procedures so that services are still available while minimizing exposure to groups

If you have town business that you can conduct from home by telephone or internet, it is strongly encouraged. We need to limit exposure to town employees who provide critical services in the town infrastructure.

SAU 1 Con-Val school district has canceled all classes and activities until April 6th 2020

We encourage everyone to follow the CDC and DHHS guide lines on prevention and spread of the Corona Virus

This is a dynamic event that changes by the hour. There is no need for panic, but we need to practice precautions and prevention to help prevent the spread of the virus. We are following the recommendations from our state and federal partners. The town website has contacts for all town department heads if you need assistance or information, but if you have an emergency to call 911. As we approach April 6th, we will reevaluate the situation.

We thank everyone for their cooperation during this period
