Tuttle Library Trustees Meeting
April 10, 2018 Minutes

Present: Trustees William Bryk, Shelly Connolly, Ron Haggett, Stephen Ullman, and Margaret Warner; Cindy Jewett, Library Director

2018-2019 Library Trustee officers were selected.  Steve moved and Ron seconded the selection of Shelly and Ron as co-treasurers.    Adopted unanimously.   Ron and Bill nominated Steve as secretary.  Adopted unanimously.  Ron moved and Steve seconded selection of Margie as Chair.  Adopted unanimously.

Ron moved and Steve seconded the adoption of the agenda.  Approved unanimously.

Ron moved and Steve seconded the adoption of the Minutes from the March meeting.  Approved unanimously.

Ron presented the Treasurer’s reports.  Bill moved acceptance. Approved unanimously.

Library Director Cindy Jewett reported on growing patron use of Ebooks.  She is planning a full summer reading program as well as a movie program for children.  Trustees suggested the possibility of an adult summer reading group.  Trustees also thanked Cindy for her excellent programmatic ideas. 

Steve reported on upcoming Antrim Historical Society programs.  He stated that the energetic AHS Accession Committee has made great progress. 

Ron offered ideas about expanding the young adult area.        

The Trustees discussed a retreat involving both staff and Trustees. 

Steve moved and Bill seconded a motion to adjourn.  Adopted unanimously.
