TUTTLE LIBRARY TRUSTEES MEETING MINUTES
March 9, 2020

Members Present: Shelly Connolly, Steve Ullman, and Margie Warner.
Also present, Library Director, Cindy Jewett and Antrim Historical Society representative, Neil Brown

The meeting was called to order by Steve Ullman at 6:30.

Neil Brown and Cindy Jewett presented a preliminary sketch of what the renovated workroom could look like, with a desk under the front window, tall locking cabinets on either side of the room, a cabinet for supplies over the sink and a large table in the center of the room.  One set of cabinets would be for the library and the other for the Antrim Historical Society.  They are looking into a number of sources of the cabinets, including surplus cabinets from the Habitat for Humanity and having them built by members of the community.  The source of the funds to finance the renovation has not been identified since they do not have a cost estimate for the project yet.  Margie and Shelly will go through the Library Trustees documents stored in the workroom and organize them prior to the start of the renovation.

Margie moved and Shelly seconded that that the agenda be approved.

Shelly presented the Treasurer’s report.  She requested that Trustees planning to attend the conference in May bring their completed registration forms to the next Trustees meeting so they can all be sent together with payment.  Shelly will send out information about which workshops members have expressed an interest in attending so we can cover as many workshops as possible.

Cindy presented the Library Director’s report.  Contingency plans are being discussed for working from home and putting sealed, marked books in the entryway for patrons to pick up without actually entering the library.

There was no update on the Library Director’s evaluation.

Steve will be available at the Town Meeting on Thursday this week to answer any questions concerning our warrant article.

Upcoming speakers for the Distinguished Lecture Series include Jim Creighton, Colonel (retired) US Army; Kimberly Rizzo Saunders, Superintendent of ConVal District; and Heather McKernan, publisher of the Monadnock Ledger-Transcript.

The meeting was adjourned at 7:12.
