TUTTLE LIBRARY TRUSTEES MEETING MINUTES
May 12th, 2020

Members Present: Nancy Blair, Shelly Connolly, Steve Ullman, Margie Warner, Rick Wood.  Also present, Library Director Cindy Jewett

This meeting was held on-line

Public Comments: None

Rick moved to accept the Agenda and Nancy seconded.  The motion passed.

Shelly moved and Margie seconded acceptance of the April Minutes. The motion passed.

Treasurer Report was accepted and there was discussion surrounding the Dunlap Donation.

This was given by Don Dunlap in memory of his first wife, Elizabeth Sweet Dunlap.

A thank-you gathering of some sort was suggested by Rick, when gatherings are again allowed.

NH Charitable Foundation is handling the disbursement of funds.

The first amount that the library received was $2,970.47

It is not known as of yet, the total amount of the gift.

 

Library Director's Report:

Staff has been working from home, but are beginning to go into the library.

New books that are on order are beginning to come in.

Testing is being done by the state to see if the virus lives on surfaces such as books. Local libraries are waiting for the results of this test to begin curbside services, which have been targeted for June 1st. Tuttle is in the second stage of reopening and moving toward the third.

Cleaning supplies and PPE have been ordered and are available for the staff. The town will be reimbursing the library for these supplies.

Deep cleaning of the library will also take place.

Only 2 staff members at a time will be in the library.

Summer Reading Program will take place on-line. Chris Stultz. The librarian at AES and Patrick Cogan and his therapy dog, Rosie, will be helping out.

New Business:

Shelly was authorized to pay the NHLTA dues when the invoice arrives.

Motion to adjourn by Nancy at 7:47, seconded by Shelly. Motion passed.
