Meeting Minutes
August 14, 2018

Present:  Trustees William Bryk, Shelly Connolly, Ron Haggett, Steve Ullman, and Margie Warner; Cindy Jewett, Library Director

Shelly moved and William seconded acceptance of the agenda.  Adopted unanimously.

Steve moved and Ron seconded a motion to accept the July 2018 Minutes.   Adopted unanimously.

Shelly presented the Treasurer’s Report.  Shelly updated the Trustees on the Library’s current financial status which is quite healthy.  

Cindy presented the Library Director’s monthly report.  The Library will be wrapping up its summer programs this coming Saturday.  One hundred and forty-one adults and children participated.  The Library is utilizing new software.  The staff wishes to thank the Trustees for this investment.  Circulation achieved a new record of 1825.   The Trustees expressed their gratitude to Cynthia for her friendliness and public visibility. 

Ron reported the progress of the Library window replacement.  He also informed the Trustees that the Capital Improvement Program Committee will be meeting next week. 

Steve reported on events the Antrim Historical Society is planning. 

Ron filled in Trustees about Attorney-General seminars.

Steve reported on two ideas for short-term, winter book clubs. 

Steve moved and William seconded a motion to appropriate $200 for Home and Harvest activities.  Adopted unanimously.

Cindy reported on the recent building inspection.   

Shelly moved and Steve seconded a motion to adjourn.  Adopted unanimously.
