Homeschool Resources

Below is a list of helpful resources for parents and guardians who choose to homeschool. 

We have a growing collection of textbooks donated by families who homeschool available for check out and we subscribe to the periodical Practical Homeschool which is also available for check out.

Each year we select museum passes and this year we have the following: Boston Museum of Fine Arts, NH State Parks, NH Historical Society, and the SEE Science Center.

We have subscription databases to support homeschool curriculum.  Please call us for login information, or how to search.

New Hampshire Homeschooling Coalition
Everything you will need to begin homeschooling in New Hampshire.  Topics include: legal issues, meetup groups, guidebooks, curriculum and so much more.

Articles on getting started, curriculum reviews, printable lessons, and links to local support groups make this site a great resource, especially for families who are new to homeschooling.

Khan Academy
Khan Academy offers free online lessons and interactive exercises on just about every possible topic. These lessons can be a great resource for students and parents, whether you work through an entire subject, or just supplement with videos to get help with a tricky math challenge or other subject.

NASA for Students
The NASA website’s For Students section includes a great free catalog of articles, activities, videos, and games for students in grades K–12 on topics related to STEM, aeronautics, and space exploration.

Project Gutenberg
Project Gutenberg is a library of over 60,000 free eBooks.  Most books are in the public domaine and have been digitized by  volunteers.
