Present: Celeste Lunetta, Joan Gorga, Isaac Lombard, Christine Morris, Mike Genest

Minutes: June minutes accepted as written.

Town Gym

Gym Floor. Full sanding and repainting still scheduled for mid-August.

Other.

 One door not working right—rusting on frame. Tim to send ConVal door guys to look at it.

 Asbestos-containing adhesive now cleared from AES. GBS generous to offer space during removal.

 Lobby carpet replaced with tile, new tile also in Rec Office.

 Rooftop AC installed at AES

Shea Field

Pitching wall. Approved by Selectboard; working with contractors. Mural artist to paint strike zones & soccer & lacrosse goals. Rec Dept will provide funding for materials.

Home & Harvest. Use of lights until 9:30, followed by cleanup, approved by Selectboard.

Maintenance.

 Sinkhole appeared; Celeste will fill with sand.

 Applications according to Tom Erwin plan on track.

 Turf needs lots of water.

 Celeste received advice from Tim Grossi regarding infield weeds.

 Field in use for activities 3 nights a week this summer; also used informally regularly.

 Celeste will look into removal of poison ivy on fence side.

Memorial Park

Tennis camp. June camp was small.

Skatepark. Skatelite ordered; Colin Isotti & Mitch Reynolds to do repairs. Scott Man Jam Aug 3; will be reminded that smoking & drug use are prohibited.

Antrim In the Evening. 75-100 people attended July 4th activities; >100 attended Wildlife Encounters; all three Night Sky sessions were "sold out" with 25 people in each.

Gagaball pit. Michael Redmond looking for funding.

Pond Science. Avenue A Pond Science program to be held July 22.

Maintenance. Grass growing in gravel path—will leave it there. Posts still not fixed to hold rails. Trash remains an issue. New graffiti on bandstand. Toilet cleaning now changed to Wednesday, just before AIE

Gregg Lake

Beach.

 Discussed trash pickup issues, including changing completely to carry-in, carry-out policy.

 On beach opening day, well cistern found to be full of garbage, including diapers. Pump needs to be replaced. Temporary repair done—need to budget for replacement. Jim will make tight cover.

 Complaint about only one handicap parking spot; rarely need a second—will allow to park in no parking zone if needed.

 Look into species of trees to plant by boulders for shade.

 Discussed plans to use $40,000 to be paid when wind farm is operational.

 No issues with gender-neutral restrooms.

 No boats moored yet.

Lake Host program. New volunteers trained.

Watershed Management Plan. Water Quality Advisory Committee meeting to be held July 12.

Budget

CIP forms due July 31—Gym floor & Memorial Park. Discussed adding Watershed Management items.

Walking Trail

Marshall reported that the AFD did not like the idea.
