NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Pursuant to RSA 675:3 and 675:7, Notice is hereby given that the Antrim Planning Board will hold a Public Hearing at its regular meeting beginning at 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, November 19, 2020 at the Antrim Town Hall on the following proposed amendments to the Zoning Ordinance:

  1. To allow excavation as a permitted use in the Highway Business and Rural Districts, provided that the operation can comply with all requirements of the Earth Excavation Regulations.
  2. To amend the definition of Building Materials to clarify that it does not include the excavation of earth materials.
  3. To clarify within the specific districts where Building Materials and Supply are permitted whether that means sale and/or storage of same.
  4. To amend Article XIV, Y – Accessory Dwelling Units to clarify that they are permitted in all districts that permit single-family dwellings; and remove criteria that require twice the minimum lot size for a detached unit, prohibits separate utility connections, and requires owner-occupancy of either the ADU or the primary unit.
  5. To amend Article VIII, C.2 to change “lot width” to “lot frontage.”
  6. To amend Article XI-A, Shoreland Protection District by a comprehensive re-write of the entire ordinance, the purpose of which is to remove unnecessary terms, clarify the review process, and better specify what uses can be allowed under what circumstances within the protected shorelands.

A full copy of the proposed amendments are posted on the Town’s website https://www.antrimnh.org/ and available at the Antrim Town Hall during regular business hours. The Town Hall is currently appointment only, so please call ahead. Due to COVID-19/Coronavirus crisis and in accordance with the Governor’s Emergency Order #12 pursuant to Executive Order 2020-04, this Board is authorized to meet electronically. The public has access to attend this meeting via Zoom, and the log on information can be found on the Town’s Website. For those wishing to attend in person, masks are required as well as social distancing.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Please be advised that on Thursday, November 19th, 2020 at its regular meeting beginning at 7:00 P.M. the Planning Board will have a Public Hearing to act on the submission of an application from Amy & Paul Vassar for a wool processing home based business for property located at 10 Grove Street, Antrim NH 03440 Tax Map 102, Lot 003 in the Residential District. Should the Board accept the application as complete, it will move immediately into public hearing on the merits of the proposal.  Should a decision not be made at this time, this application will stay on the Board’s agenda until it is either approved or disapproved. Due to COVID-19, all in attendance are required to wear a cloth face covering following CDC guidelines and to social distance. This Public Hearing will be live on Zoom as well, and the log in information will be posted on the town’s website. Written concerns should be submitted to the Antrim Town Office prior to the meeting. The application and supporting documents are available for review at the Antrim Town Offices by appointment only 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM Monday through Thursday; or electronically by emailing antrimplan2@tds.net.
