Select Board Meeting Minutes
Thursday, July 22, 2020
10:00 am at Town Hall (mask required)

Board Members Present: Michael Genest, Chairman; John Robertson, Selectman; Robert L. Edwards, Selectman
Staff Present: Donna Hanson, Town Administrator; Jim Plourde, Road Agent
Others Present: Ronald Gutkowski, Peter Berwin, Don Kanawah, Wilbert & Constance Vandervort

Agenda Items:

​​​​​​​I.  Approval of Minutes

• Mr. Edwards moved to approve the July 16, 2020 minutes. Mr. Robertson seconded. Passed 3/0

​​​​​​​II.  Maple Avenue

• Residents from Maple Avenue attended the meeting to ask about repairs to the road. Mr. Plourde said he will do some work on the road this year if time permits and if there is enough financing available but it will probably be next year before major repairs will be done. There is a rock coming through the road and Mr. Plourde said he will make sure that is taken out before winter. He will also check the drainage on that road.

​​​​​​​III.  Parks & Recreation Commission

• Mr. Edwards moved to appoint Tim Moorehouse to the Parks & Recreation Commission. Mr. Robertson seconded. Passed 3/0

IV.  Non-Public

• Mr. Robertson moved to go into non-public per RSA 91-A:3,II (b)Hiring. Mr. Edwards  seconded. Roll Call Vote: Mr. Robertson, yes; Mr. Edwards, yes; Mr. Genest, yes
• Mr. Edwards moved to hire Max Shumway as a beach attendant. Mr. Robertson seconded. Passed 3/0

V.  Town Administrator Update

• The 2013 Ford Utility Police Interceptor will be put out to bid.
• Neil Pattison from the fire department talked with Mr. Robertson about hiring an inspector who can inspect Town trucks on site instead of taking them to a garage. Ms. Hanson will discuss the proposal with Fire Chief Gale.

VI.  Closing

• Mr. Robertson moved to adjourn at 11:00 am. Mr. Edwards seconded. Passed 3/0
