On Thursday April 18, 2024, from 2:15 to 3:15 p.m. at the James A. Tuttle Library, Antrim readers will be discussing John Grisham’s, "The Firm".  

After graduating from Harvard Law School, a young attorney discovers that his supposedly upright Memphis law firm is, in fact, operating  as a criminal enterprise.  Just how he resolves his conflict between worldly  success and personal morality forms the core of this book.

Among the questions readers may consider are:

1. What would you do in the young lawyer’s position?

2. What moral quandaries does he confront?

3. Which characters do you most identify with?

4. What does The Firm say about the pursuit of “The American Dream”  in the world of corporate law?
