June 27 2023: Advisory for Cyanobacteria bloom removed from Gregg Lake

The cyanobacteria bloom advisory has been removed from Gregg Lake on Monday afternoon, June 26. We have not observed visible surface bloom activity at the town beach, kayak/dog area, or boat launch, since Friday June 23. We brought water samples from four areas at the town waterfront to NHDES in Concord on Monday morning. All samples were clear of harmful algae. Ecoli testing from June 20 was also returned with good results for healthy swimming. We will continue to monitor our waterfront areas and wish everyone a very happy summer. Thank you for doing your part to help preserve water quality and clean beaches.
