Parks & Recreation

Mission Statement

The mission of the Antrim Parks and Recreation Commission is to work in cooperation with our public and private partners to oversee and make recommendations for the planning, development, and maintenance of recreational programs, land, and facilities in Antrim.

The Parks and Recreation Commission is made up of volunteers who are appointed by the selectmen to serve 3 or 5-year terms. The Commission meets once each month, on the second Thursday at 7pm, at the Antrim Recreation office in the Memorial Town Gymnasium.

We are seeking new members! Please contact any of us for details.

Commission responsibilities include developing and administering the Parks and Recreation budget, ensuring the safety, development and quality of the towns parks and recreation facilities, as well as administrative duties over the recreation programs and staff.

Hours are subject to change as programs demand. Please always call first to confirm that we are in the office - we are often called out of the office for meetings, facility work, or programs. We are also available at other times by appointment.
