Board Members Present: John Robertson, Chairman; Tom Davis, Selectman; Michael Ott, Selectman

Staff Present: Donna Hanson, Town Administrator

Others Attending: Shelley Nelkens; Bob Edwards

Agenda Items:

I.  Approval of Minutes

  • Mr. Davis moved to approve the September 13, 2021 minutes as amended. Mr. Robertson seconded. Passed 3/0
  • Mr. Robertson moved to approve the Non-Public minutes of September 13, 2021 minutes. Davis seconded. Passed 2/0

II.  Meetings Attended

III.  Town Administrator Update

  • Ms. Hanson reported Jacqueline from the Teen Center asked if anyone on the Select Board would be willing to have an interview with teens to get the Select Board’s view on town matters. Ms. Hanson will get in touch with Jacqueline to arrange it.
  • Ms. Linda Bundy sent an email asking what the Select Board members thought about whether Hillsborough county districts should be redrawn.
  • Mr. Ott will replace Mr. Davis as the Park & Rec liason.

IV.  Other Business

  • Ms. Nelkens asked what the Select Board did after the last meeting regarding Antrim Wind. Ms. Hanson gave her and Mr. Edwards a copy of the letter that the Select Board sent. Ms. Nelkens said she didn’t think Mr. Ott could be part of the discussion. Mr. Davis said that he and the board feels that he can be part of the discussion and until proven otherwise he will be. Mr. Robertson stated that he wrote the letter and Mr. Ott make changes that improved the letter. Ms. Nelkens thinks Antrim Wind should be shut down temporarily until the lights are working. Mr. Davis doesn’t feel there is any legal standing to do that.

V.  Non-Public RSA 91-A3:3, II (C) Matters which, if discussed in public, would likely affect adversely the reputation of any person & RSA 91-A:3 (B) Hiring.

  • Mr. Davis moved to go into nonpublic session.  Mr. Ott seconded. Passed 3/0

  • Mr. Davis moved to seal the minutes from the non-public session. Mr. Ott seconded. Passed 3/0

VII.  Closing

  • Mr. Robertson moved to adjourn at 7:25. Mr. Ott seconded. Passed 3/0
