Draft Minutes April 13 2023

PARC Meeting 04-13-2023

In attendance: Isaac L., Celeste L. , Jonas T.  and Tim M. 

John Anderson was present to observe

Minutes from the last meeting were accepted

Gregg Lake:  The grant for phase 1 is in final draft.  Ave. A requested use of the park on June 5th and 6th for a blindfold boat race.  Beach staffing is full.

Memorial Park:  Fishing derby still needs an organizer.  Mill Pond needs dredging.  Celeste applied for 2 grants for Antrim in the Evening.  Skate park needs repainting.  Major damage caused by last storm.  

Shea Field:   School district requested field day and game schedules.  Field has been aerated.  

Town Gym:  Floor still needs repair.  Danaher Flooring has not responded yet.  

Goodell Park:  Fallen trees need to be removed and the area cleaned up. Thanks to Isaac for his work there.  Celeste will locate a property map to support clean up.

Recreation Dept.: Summer registration.is going well.  

SAIL program started this week.  Thirteen people attended the first event.

New/Other Business  Bridge lessons, a square dance event and moonlight kayaking were brought forward for future discussion .
