Draft Minutes October 2021 PARCmeeting

Attendees:  Isaac Lombard, Celeste Lunetta, Joan Gorga, Jonas Taub, Tim Morehouse

 

Meeting started at 7:10 PM

 

 Community survey  - tabled until Lisa is available to speak.

 

Budget  - Celeste will present the budget to the selectboard on Oct. 25th.  Salary line will increase by 3%.  It was suggested that chemical toilet fees should reflect the actual cost.  Beach salaries have increased

 

Gregg Lake  - The master plan for the grant to improve Gregg Lake will be brought to the selectboard meeting on Oct. 25th.  The first round is complete and we were invited to apply for the grant.  Celeste, Joan, Kathi and Tim met with Mike Petrovick, an architect, to assist in the development of a master plan.  The board approved that $4500 be released for payment to Mike for development of the master plan.  Celeste and Joan met with state Fish and Game officer Garrett to discuss the boat launch.  It was suggested that this item be included in stage 3 or 4 of the master plan.  An issue with the bench at the beach was discussed.  Tim will send a letter to the selectboard explaining the process.  A second kayak rack was approved by the board to be built in the spring.  The ropes will be taken out of the swimming area when the weather gets colder.  Some of the signs at the boat launch were destroyed.

 

Shea Field  - The cost of the lights for Home and Harvest was $800.  This was inclusive of a 3 day period.  Celeste will approach H and H to help pay for the cost.  Home and Harvest was an overall success.  Field looks great.

 

Town Gym  - Planning to go forward with programs including basketball at this time.

 

Memorial Park  - The skate ramp is complete including proper venting to prevent bee infestation.  The bandstand continues to be vandalized.  Police are mounting cameras to assist in the prevention of more property damage.  More details coming.
