Draft minutes Parks and Rec Commission June 2023

PARC Meeting 06-08-2023

In attendance: Isaac, Celeste, Joan, Jonas, Mike and Tim

Minutes from the last meeting were accepted

Gregg Lake:  The renovation plan is back from the architect ,  It will go before the Select Board for approval on June 12th.  No word back yet on the boat launch grant.  Cameras have been installed and are operational.  

Shea field:  Fertilization and laser leveling are due.  Erosion by the dugouts is worsening.  Tim will approach the Select Board with an update for funds to repair the dugouts.

Town Gym:  The exterior doors still need repair.  Some bleachers still need repair.  The flooring company has not returned our calls.  

Memorial Park/Goodell Park:  Skate park will need repair.  A new net will be purchased for the tennis courts.  A dredging company has been contacted for cleanup of Mill Pond.  Signage for town events at Goodell Park or other sites will be explored.  

Rec. Dept.:  Status Quo
