Swap Shop Guidelines

The A.R.T.S. is pleased to be able to offer town residents the service of the Swap Shop. This is the place where lightly used items may be dropped off for others who may need them.

Swap Shop is Volunteer run

Swap Shop is open on Saturdays ONLY during Transfer Station hours. 

Please only bring items that:

  • Are still functional and have all necessary parts.
  • Are clean, attractive, and in working order.

NOT accepted:

  • Furniture.
  • Items that are listed on the A.R.T.S. fee list.
  • Clothing (collection boxes next to shop available)

Please note:

  • Attendant inspects and approves all items for swap shop.
  • Items are for personal use only, not for resale.
  • Shoppers must have A.R.T.S. vehicle permit that can be picked up at Town Hall or Transfer Station.
  • Shoppers may only visit once a day – 15 minutes       per visit.
  • The Town assumes no liability for any items taken.
  • Anyone not following the rules will be banned from using the facility.

Please help keep the Swap Shop clean and organized.
