TUTTLE LIBRARY TRUSTEES MEETING MINUTES

September 8th, 2020

Members Present:  Shelly Connolly, Diane Kendall, Rick Wood, Nancy Blair

Public Comments: None

Diane moved and Shelly seconded acceptance of the August Minutes.  The motion passed.

Treasurer’s Report was discussed and accepted. There will be a second signatory for the checking account. Shelly moved that Richard Wood be added as an authorized signer on the James A Tuttle Library account at the Bank of New Hampshire, and that Ronald Haggert's name be removed from such account. Further that such account be changed to a Business Money Market account. Diane seconded and the motion passed.

Spending Limitation Policy has been tabled so that Rick can gather more information.

Library Director's Report:

Inter-library loan to begin again soon.

Cindy is working on a new closure policy for the library

Old Business:

A new sub-committee will be established for the Director Evaluation.

The train project in the Children's Room is moving right along.

Cindy is working on a Commemorative Plaque for those who have provided Trust Funds to the Library.

Avenue A working on the old green benches.

Slow Children's signs installed in the driveway.

Dunlap Trust Update for Senior Citizens Trip/Activity: The donor requests that at least one tour by said libraries take place, each year, with food and refreshments provided during the Fall foliage season for the benefit of senior citizens for the town of Antrim (when safe to do so! Per the lawyer).

Cindy will work on an inclement weather policy. 

Rick will install the Ullman plaque for the podium.

Christopher is working on a Google Docs sharing location for the Trustees.  Need a place to review Docs that we are all working on!

It was decided to purchase a Toadstool gift card as a “Thank You” to Margie Warner for her years as a Trustee.

New Business:

The project to go through file cabinets will go forward to free up use of that room for the Historical Society. This was decided before the pandemic and was put on hold.

Motion to adjourn by Diane at 7:40, seconded by Shelly.  Motion passed.
