Meeting Minutes
June 13, 2023

Present:  Trustees: Jennifer Adams, Nancy Blair, Susan Bartlett, Steve Ullman, Rick Wood, Jenine Rubin; Cynthia Jewett, Library Director
Rick moved and Steve seconded acceptance of the amended agenda.  Adopted unanimously.
Rick moved and Jennifer seconded acceptance of the May 9. 2023 meeting Minutes.

Rick presented the Treasurer’s report.  The Library is in good shape financially.

Cyndi presented the Director’s Report.  She listed an impressive set of Library-based activities.  Many young people have signed up for the summer reading program.

Steve moved and Nancy seconded a motion to authorize the appropriation of no more than $1200 for a Library Director’s trip to the Rural Librarians Conference.   Approved unanimously.

Rick has submitted the second and final commemorative brick order.

Steve reported on the 8th graders DC trip talk.

In order to make a decision about whether the Trustees will assist the GBS DC trip next year, Nancy and Steve will make inquiries at GBS. 

Jennifer moved and Nancy seconded a motion to allow the AHS to install hall displays. Approved unanimously.

Trustees should save the September 29th date for the Regional Trustee and Director Training.

Nancy moved and Rick seconded a motion to authorize the spending of no more than $300 for an air purifier.  Approved unanimously.

Jennifer moved and Rick seconded a motion to adjourn. Approved unanimously.
