Meeting Minutes
July 1l, 2023

Present:  Trustees: Jennifer Adams, Nancy, Blair, Susan Bartlett, Steve Ullman; Cynthia Jewett, Library Director, Patrick Cogan, Lighting Expert

Public Comment:  Lighting expert Patrick Cogan informed Trustees about first floor and outside lighting.  Jennifer moved and Nancy seconded a motion to hire Patrick Cogan to design lighting for the Young Adults Room, the Merrifield Room and the outside steps.  Adopted unanimously.

Jennifer moved and Steve seconded acceptance of the agenda.  Adopted unanimously.
Jennifer moved and Nancy seconded acceptance of the June 13. 2023 meeting Minutes. 

Rick is on vacation so we will hear the Treasurer’s report next month

  • Cindy presented the Director’s Report.   
  • Christopher will be introducing new technology-related programs. 
  • Cindy announced speakers’ programs.

The Friends of the Tuttle Library

  • Purchased a pass to the SEE Science Center in Manchester.
  • They worked on the the outside landscaping. 
  • Volunteers also worked on retiring the Jim Burnham quilt exhibition.

We discussed a dedication ceremony for the generous Merrifield Room contribution.

Jennifer moved and Nancy seconded a motion to adjourn.  Adopted unanimously.
