Library Board of Trustees

Present: Jennifer Adams, Susan Bartlett, Jenine Rubin, Stephen Ullman, Rick Wood, Cynthia Jewett, Library, Director

Jenine moved and Rick  seconded a motion to accept the agenda as presented.
Jennifer moved and Rick seconded a motion to accept the Minutes from the November meeting.  Adopted unanimously.

Treasurer’s Report:
Rick reported on the Library’s current cash balance of $19,600.21. We are expecting additional money from the Trustees of the Trust Fund. Rick moved and Jenine seconded a motion to offer employees $300 each as a year-end bonus and $500 to the Library Director. 

This coming year 2024 Trustees budget represents an increase of 2.26% over the 2023 budget.

Cynthia presented the Library Director’s report. The new cleaning company (Yvette Brinkley)  has made major improvements in the condition of the library. The Trustees are most grateful.

The Trustees agreed to minor changes in the Library’s, patron behavior policies.  Adopted unanimously.

The Trustees discussed various methods of keeping the  Library safe and welcoming.

Jennifer moved and Jenine seconded a motion to adjourn.  Adopted unanimously.
