Trustees Meeting April 9, 2024
Attendance: Jennifer Adams, Susan Bartlett, Nancy Blair, Jenine Rubin, Stephen Ullman, Rick Wood; Library Director, Cyndi Jewett

Meeting called to order at 6:30 p.m.
The Trustees held a lengthy public comment session.
Rick moved and Jennifer seconded a motion to adopt the agenda as presented. Adopted unanimously.
Nancy moved and Rick seconded a motion to adopt the Minutes from March 12th meeting. Adopted unanimously.
Nancy moved and Jennifer seconded a motion to elect Susan Bartlett as Chair, Rick as Treasurer, and Steve as Secretary.  Adopted unanimously.
Rick delivered the Treasurer’s report.
Cyndi presented the Director’s Report. 
Cyndi has won a professional education grant from the ALA and EBSCO.

Nancy Blair reported on Friends of the Library activities including the successful bake sale on Election Day.  Avenue A poets’ work is currently being displayed at the Library.  

Rick reported on buildings and grounds.  Several important conversations regarding blowers and wiring alterations will be occurring in the future.
Rick moved and Nancy seconded a motion to permit an appropriation of up to $300 for wall hanging equipment.  Voted unanimously.  

Teen room – Jennifer moved removal of the current furnishings and the installation of a large table which she would donate.  Rick seconded the motion.  Adopted unanimously.  

Nancy moved and Jennifer seconded a motion to adjourn.  Adopted unanimously.

Rick moved and Jennifer seconded a motion to adjourn.  Adopted unanimously.
