James A Tuttle Library Trustees Meeting
March 28, 2023
Present: Jennifer Adams, Susan Bartlett, Nancy Blair, Stephen Ullman, Rick Wood, Cynthia Jewett

B.Rick moved, Steve seconded adoption of the agenda. Voted unanimously.
C.Rick moved and Nancy seconded adoption of the Minutes from the February meeting. Adopted unanimously.
D.Rick presented the Treasurer’s Report. First, he discussed Town government expenses; then he considered the Trustees’ own funding, and the Trustees’ own expenses. The Trustees thanked him for the clarity of his review.
E.Cindy presented the Director’s Report. Lighting and alarm equipment is in order.
a.Last month ninety-three teenagers visited the Library in part due to Christopher Brinkley’s efforts. This level of attendance is unprecedented among New Hampshire’s libraries.
F.Patrons have been enjoying the improvements to the Merrifield and YA rooms. We are awaiting additional lights and a table.
G.The Friends received a contribution from the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation which the Library used to acquire computer hardware. The Friends also arranged for children’s “stuffies” to have a sleepover at the Library.
H.Rick reported on the latest developments in brick-based fundraising.
I.Steve will contact Great Brook School concerning the 8th grade Washington Trip.
J.Rick updated the Trustees on the future of the Festival of Trees. Nancy and Jennifer will follow up.
K.The last payment on the 2007 bond (which paid for the 2007 Library addition) has occurred.
L.Rick reported on ongoing building and grounds projects. The Trustees once again want to thank Tim Morehouse for his exceptional work.
M.The Antrim Historical Society will be holding a future program on quilts
N.Nancy moved and Rick seconded a motion to adjourn. Voted unanimously.
