Meeting Room Policy

The Library’s meeting rooms are available free of charge to any organizations in Antrim, Bennington, and Deering engaging in educational, cultural, intellectual, or charitable activities and events, regardless of the beliefs or affiliations of individuals or groups requesting its use.                                                                                                                                                                                                                           

  1. The meeting rooms are available during Library hours only.
  2. Reserving a room will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
  3. Any group or organization wishing to reserve a meeting room must contact the Library or call 603-588-6786 to make a reservation.
  4. Room reservations may be scheduled up to twelve months in advance.
  5. The Library subscribes to the equitable use of its facilities regardless of the beliefs or affiliations of the individuals or groups requesting use.

Use of the meeting room, does not constitute an endorsement by the Library of an organization’s policies or beliefs.
Groups may not imply in their advertising or during meetings that the Library sponsors or supports the meeting, group, or presentation without prior written

Cancelation of use by any group must be made known to Library Staff as soon as possible so other groups can be accommodated. The Library reserves the right to cancel any meeting or event in the case of emergency due to such conditions as dangerous weather conditions, power outages, etc.

Alcohol consumption is prohibited in Antrim town buildings (see Appendix G)

The James A. Tuttle Library has three meeting rooms available inside the building and one gazebo to be used a meeting room.       

  1. The Historical Society maximum capacity of forty.
  2. The room next to the Historical Society maximum capacity of ten.
  3. The Merrifield Room maximum capacity of four.
  4. The outside gazebo maximum capacity of TBD.

Alcohol consumption is prohibited in Antrim town buildings (see Appendix G)
